Soccer Recap: Grove City Christian Comes Up Short

Grove City Christian managed to slip by Hamilton Township the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Rangers on Monday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Grove City Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Hamilton Township are ranked 115th).

Grove City Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Hamilton Township, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Grove City Christian will take on Tree of Life Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamilton Township, they will face off against Logan Elm at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
