Madison Academy has gone a perfect 5-0 against Decatur recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Madison Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Madison Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Muscle Shoals on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-19 in the first set.

Madison Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-13, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Decatur came up short against Hartselle on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 27-29, 25-12.

Madison Academy's loss dropped their record down to 24-15. As for Decatur, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-22.

Madison Academy beat Decatur 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
