Basketball Recap: El Dorado Comes Up Short

El Dorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 64-33 defeat at the hands of the Andale Indians. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Indians are ranked 138th).

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Andale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5-2.

El Dorado has already played their next game (against Augusta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Andale will take on Mulvane on Tuesday. Andale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
