Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Academy Comes Up Short

Jefferson Academy had taken Peak to Peak down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Pumas, falling 3-0. The Jaguars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

While Jefferson Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

Eliana Huang paced Jefferson Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Huang got some help from Ravel LaBerge and her 11 assists. Huang also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Katerina Shadrach, each putting up three.

Jefferson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Peak to Peak, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-10.

As of now, neither Jefferson Academy nor the Pumas have any future games scheduled.
