Lincoln had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Limestone on Friday. The Railsplitters were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Rockets. That looming 13-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Railsplitters yet this season.

Lincoln's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-12. As for Limestone, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Pleasant Plains on the 5th. As for Limestone, they have also already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Illini Bluffs on the 3rd.
