Football Recap: Centereach Comes Up Short at Home Against Northport

Centereach unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Northport Tigers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Simon Blissett went supernova For Northport., throwing for 193 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 72 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Those 72 rushing yards gave Blissett a new career-high. Luke Loiacono was another key player, gaining 92 total yards and two touchdowns.
