Start extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 14-6 in the process. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Lima Senior. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-1 win two weeks ago.

The team relied heavily on Joe Buck, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Braydin Roesner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Start hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive matches.

As for Lima Senior, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

On Lima Senior's side, Brady Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases. Wright has become a key player for Lima Senior: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 4-15 otherwise.
