Volleyball Recap: Eaglecrest Raptors vs. Mountain Vista Golden Eagles

Eaglecrest faced Mountain Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Raptors lost 3-0 to the Golden Eagles. The Raptors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

While Eaglecrest ultimately came up short, they really made Mountain Vista work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-17, 25-23.

Jackson Shaw paced Eaglecrest's offense, picking up 15 kills. Shaw got some help from Dillan Ancheta and his 25 assists. Ashton Bond controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
