Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summit). They never let the Ridgeview Ravens get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Storm with their most commanding win of the season.

Summit is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Summit and Ridgeview should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Storm (ranked 35th) will meet Mountain View (ranked 90th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridgeview will challenge Caldera at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (11 vs. 99).
