Softball Recap: Cheney Cardinals vs. Council Grove Braves
14 must be Cheney's lucky number: they beat Council Grove with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Cardinals beat the Braves by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-4. The win was just business as usual for the Cardinals, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Macey Batt and Karstyn Inslee did most of the damage at the plate: Batt scored a run while going 2-for-5, while Inslee scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Karli Inslee was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
