Volleyball Recap: Angola Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Angola's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Fremont Eagles 3-0. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-20, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Angola to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cali Hamilton, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hamilton has posted since back in August. Raylee DeLong also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Angola's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Fremont, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Angola is set to challenge their familiar foe Garrett at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fremont will face off against rival Prairie Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
