Basketball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakeland managed to slip by Pittston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chiefs had to suffer through a 71-43 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The Chiefs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-17.

Lakeland's loss on Monday came despite strong showings from Chase Rosenkrans and Jake McHale. Rosenkrans shot 40% from the field on his way to 18 points and five boards, while McHale posted nine points and six rebounds. Cole Tonkin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pittston, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Lakeland has already played their next game (against West Scranton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pittston and Crestwood will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season.
