Basketball Recap: Palma Falls Short of Priory in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palma can now relate to. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Priory Panthers on Saturday.

Priory's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jai Gerrodette, who posted 16 points. Teddy Xanthopoulos was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Palma's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Priory, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Palma nor Priory have any future games scheduled.
