Basketball Recap: Purcell Comes Up Short

If Purcell was feeling good fresh off their 69-43 takedown of Pauls Valley last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Purcell Dragons fell just short of the Bridge Creek Bobcats by a score of 67-64 on Friday. The Dragons have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Purcell's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Bridge Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Purcell will face off against Lindsay at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bridge Creek, they will challenge Washington at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Washington will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bridge Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
