Soccer Recap: Maumee Finishes Even with Wauseon

For the first time this season, Maumee was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Wauseon Indians could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Charlie Skeels and Jaxson Greenlese scored both of Maumee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

With that draw, Maumee's record moves to 9-4-1. As for Wauseon, they moved theirs to 11-0-2.

Looking ahead, Maumee will venture away from home to take on Oak Harbor at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wauseon, they will welcome Ottoville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ottoville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wauseon surely won't give up without a fight.
