Football Recap: Inlet Grove Skates Past Palm Beach Christian Prep with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Inlet Grove). They claimed a resounding 62-0 win over the Palm Beach Christian Prep Saints. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hurricanes considering their six-point performance the game before.

Demetry Hudson had an outrageously good game as he threw for 444 yards and six TDs while picking up 17.8 yards per attempt. Cornelius Terry helped Hudson out on the ground, rushing for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries.

Inlet Grove didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Chris Darealist.

Inlet Grove now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Palm Beach Christian Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Inlet Grove will look to defend their home field on Thursday against ABF Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Palm Beach Christian Prep, they will venture away from home to take on The Master's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
