Basketball Recap: Alvarado Falls Despite Big Games from Carleigh Ray and Mckayla Norris

Alvarado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 36-23 to the Ferris Yellowjackets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-36 back in January.

Alvarado's loss came despite strong showings from Mckayla Norris and Carleigh Ray. Norris dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, while Ray posted six points in addition to nine boards and four blocks.

Alvarado's defeat dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Ferris, they moved to 12-16 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Alvarado nor Ferris have any future games scheduled.
