Volleyball Recap: Mary Walker Comes Up Short

Mary Walker lost against Oakesdale back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nighthawks. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kaylin Gines paced Mary Walker's offense, picking up 26 kills. Gines got some help from Addisyn Matherly-Stricker and her 24 assists. Finally, Gines was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Mary Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Oakesdale, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-3.

As of now, neither Mary Walker nor the Nighthawks have any future games scheduled.
