Mamaroneck won the last time they faced Rye and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Garnets by a score of 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

GRAHAM WILLIAMS spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on WILL PLUNKETT, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. LUKE REAGINS was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Mamaroneck's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rye, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Mamaroneck will be playing at home against Port Chester at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rye, they will head out on the road to face off against Rye Neck at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
