Soccer Recap: Thomas Jefferson Takes a Loss

The Thomas Jefferson Spartans lost 8-1 to the Arapahoe Warriors on Saturday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Alana Zaharako, who's now up to four this season.

Thomas Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Arapahoe, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Thomas Jefferson will square off against St. Mary's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomas Jefferson has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Arapahoe, they will challenge Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average, (Arapahoe 0.2, Heritage 0.5) so any goals scored will be well earned.
