Basketball Recap: Kyle Noud Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Ramsey

There's no place like home for Lebanon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-57 victory over the Ramsey Rams on Tuesday. With that win, the Greyhounds brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Lebanon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyle Noud led the charge by putting up 24 points. Those 24 points gave Noud a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Deion Washington, who posted 24 points.

Ramsey lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Waylon Williams, who went 9 of 16 en route to 19 points and six rebounds. Teegan Snider was another key player, earning six points and three blocks.

Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Ramsey, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lebanon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against East Alton-Wood River at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lebanon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season. As for Ramsey, they will head out on the road to challenge North Clay/Clay City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
