Football Game Recap: Holmes County Central vs. Neshoba Central

The last time they met, Neshoba Central were the 20-19 winner over Holmes County Central. This time around? They had no such luck. Neshoba Central had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it on Friday as the squad lost 13-14 to Holmes County Central. Neshoba Central's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The defeat dropped Neshoba Central's record to 5-1. The win bumped Holmes County Central's record up to 4-1.

Next week Neshoba Central take on Vicksburg at VICKSBURG HS at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. As for Holmes County Central, they will face off against Canton. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games.
