Port Richmond waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down Petrides 69-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-30 back in December of 2024.

Port Richmond is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Petrides, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Richmond will face off against Tottenville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tottenville will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Port Richmond surely won't give up without a fight. As for Petrides, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Dorp at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th.
