Soccer Recap: Desert View Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Desert View Jaguars didn't have quite enough to beat the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions and fell 2-1. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jose Galaz, who's now up to ten this season.

Desert View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Mountain Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Desert View will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Mountain Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Williams Field at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain Ridge's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
