Basketball Game Preview: Johnson County Trojans vs. Calhoun County Cougars

The Johnson County Trojans will face off against the Calhoun County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Johnson County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Hancock Central.

S'Riyah Bostick put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted 14 points. Ziyah Lewis was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Calhoun County ended up a good deal behind Randolph-Clay on Thursday and lost 51-32. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Calhoun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
