Basketball Game Preview: Lennox Orioles vs. Parker Pheasants

The Lennox Orioles will face off against the Parker Pheasants at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lennox is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Clark/Willow Lake, who was ranked eighth at the time (Lennox was ranked 14th). Lennox fell just short of Clark/Willow Lake by a score of 58-55 on Saturday. The Orioles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, Parker had to suffer through a 77-28 loss at the hands of West Central. The Pheasants haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lennox, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
