Carroll County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Pulaski County Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Cavaliers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pulaski County fell to 2-1.

Coming up, Carroll County will be playing at home against Patrick County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pulaski County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fleming at 7:00 p.m. on September 8.
