Volleyball Game Preview: Laguna Creek Cardinals vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

Laguna Creek is 1-7 against Liberty Ranch since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Cardinals will host the Hawks at 6:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Laguna Creek took on McClatchy on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2.

Laguna Creek took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-7.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Liberty Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Bret Harte on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Bullfrogs: they've now won three in a row.

Liberty Ranch walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 25-10.

Liberty Ranch's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Laguna Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
