Basketball Recap: Verbena Takes a Loss

Verbena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Fayette County Tigers, falling 41-3. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Verbena's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Fayette County, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Verbena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 41-3 loss against Fayetteville on the 14th. As for Fayette County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-51 defeat against Hamilton on the 17th.
