Soccer Game Preview: Troy vs. Los Amigos

The Troy Warriors will challenge the Los Amigos Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Troy's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Savanna, sneaking past 1-0. The result kept the Warriors happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Meanwhile, Los Amigos entered their tilt with Yorba Linda on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They beat the Mustangs by a goal, winning 2-1. That's two games straight that the Lobos have won by just one goal.

Erubey Bermudez was the driving force of Los Amigos' attack as he scored both of Los Amigos' goals, bringing his season total up to ten goals.

Los Amigos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season. As for Troy, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-2.

Troy suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Los Amigos when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can Troy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
