Legacy entered their tilt with Huntington Park on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 13-0. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Spartans are ranked 573rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The critical scores for Legacy came from Nayelli Vivanco and Sophia Olmos.

Legacy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Camila Caudillo led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Italy Mejia-Reneaud has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last four times she's played.

The victory got Legacy back to even at 5-5. As for Huntington Park, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6-2.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 26-0 win against South Gate on the 25th. As for Huntington Park, they have also already played their next game, a 33-0 defeat against Garfield on the 25th.
