Brookland-Cayce is 1-9 against Airport since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Brookland-Cayce Bearcats will look to defend their home court against the Airport Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Wednesday, Brookland-Cayce was beaten by Silver Bluff 49-21.
Meanwhile, Airport was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 44-38 to Silver Bluff.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Angel Mayes, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Santana Reese, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-2.
