Softball Recap: Piscataway Comes Up Short

If Piscataway was feeling good fresh off their 17-4 takedown of Carteret on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs lost 20-4 to the Union Catholic Vikings on Monday.

Piscataway dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Union Catholic, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Piscataway by a score of 21-4 later that day.
