Volleyball Recap: Providence Hall Comes Up Short

Providence Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Richfield Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Providence Hall was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Richfield's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 26-24.

Providence Hall's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Richfield, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Providence Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Clearfield on the 3rd. As for Richfield, they will venture away from home to take on Juab at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
