Softball Recap: St. Scholastica Comes Up Short

St. Scholastica managed to slip by Northlake Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The St. Scholastica Doves lost 13-6 to the Northlake Christian Wolverines on Friday. The Doves' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Aubrianne Kavanaugh was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.

St. Scholastica's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Northlake Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, St. Scholastica will venture away from home to face off against Maurepas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northlake Christian, they will host Pope John Paul II at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
