Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy lost against Bedford County CIA back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Legacy Christian Academy SAINTS fell just short of the Bedford County CIA Agents by a score of 23-21. The SAINTS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bedford County CIA's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Betsy Brennan, who posted nine points and three steals. Brennan has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Cassia Gorczyca, who earned five points and four steals.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bedford County CIA, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Legacy Christian Academy and Bedford County CIA's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Legacy Christian Academy will square off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th, a team that's only allowed 27.33 points per game. Meanwhile, Bedford County CIA and Blair County Christian (who has only given up 26.6 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th.
