Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Wake Academy). They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers on Friday. The Lions not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 12, 2024 (when they won 14-2).

Southern Wake Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Triangle Math & Science, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Triangle Math & Science will venture away from home to take on Clover Garden School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Southern Wake Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' game: after the Tigers face off against the Grizzlies, they'll take on Southern Wake Academy again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
