Baseball Recap: Rittman Comes Up Short

After flying high against Open Door Christian on Monday, Rittman came back down to earth. The Indians lost 11-1 to the Waynedale Golden Bears on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Rittman's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Waynedale, the win keeps they at an undefeated 16-0.

While Rittman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
