Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richland). They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Clarkdale Bulldogs on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Richland with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Richland and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matchups. As for Clarkdale, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-2.

Coming up, Richland will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Ridgeland at 7:15 p.m. As for Clarkdale, they have already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against New Albany on the 8th.
