Basketball Recap: Mormon Trail Comes Up Short

Mormon Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 50-36 to the Diagonal Maroons. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Maroons earlier this season, when they won 38-37.

Mormon Trail's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Diagonal, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-8.

Mormon Trail will be playing at home against Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Diagonal, they will head out to face off against Melcher-Dallas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
