Softball Recap: Covington Trojans vs. North Vermillion Falcons

Covington can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They blew past the North Vermillion Falcons 15-5. The high-scoring effort was just what Covington needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Karma Kingery was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kynlynn Lowry, who scored four runs and stole three bases.

On North Vermillion's side, Addie Burns was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Hope Kawata, who scored a run and stole a base.
