Soccer Recap: Benicia Beats Las Lomas for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Benicia hadn't done well against Las Lomas recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Benicia Panthers had just enough and edged the Las Lomas Knights out 2-1. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Knights are ranked 704th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Thomas Jouvenot-Sells was the driving force of Benicia's attack as he scored both of Benicia's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.
