Soccer Recap: Alexander Comes Up Short

Alexander and Pope squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Alexander had to settle for second. They came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Alexander in their meetings with Pope: they've now lost four in a row.

Alexander's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Pope, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Alexander does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pope, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against the Cougars on the 5th.
