River Oaks won against Hillcrest Christian last Tuesday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. River Oaks blew past Hillcrest Christian 19-1. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Makaih White made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. White was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, River Oaks got a massive performance out of Kaden Ramer, who scored three runs and stole nine bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. With that strong performance, Ramer is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Cayden Vanderberg, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

River Oaks was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in four consecutive matches.

River Oaks' win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hillcrest Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, River Oaks will square off against Tensas Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
