Football Game Preview: Lutheran South Lancers vs. MICDS Rams

Lutheran South hasn't had much luck against MICDS recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lancers will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Lutheran South has given up an average of 36.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lutheran South's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Westminster Christian on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 43-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Lancers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, MICDS was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 27-21 to Lutheran North. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lutheran South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for MICDS, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Lutheran South was dealt a bruising 66-19 defeat at the hands of MICDS in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Lancers were down 57-13.
