Basketball Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Richards last Saturday, Stagg came back down to earth. The Stagg Chargers came up short against the Lincoln-Way West Warriors on Tuesday, falling 55-33. The Chargers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Lincoln-Way West, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stagg will welcome Lincoln-Way Central at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln-Way West, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Homewood-Flossmoor at 6:30 p.m.
