Soccer Game Preview: Arrupe Jesuit vs. Sheridan

The Arrupe Jesuit Generals will face off against the Sheridan Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Arrupe Jesuit managed to keep up with Elizabeth until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Generals came up short against the Cardinals, falling 5-1. Arrupe Jesuit's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Sheridan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Jefferson.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Everything went Arrupe Jesuit's way against Sheridan when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Arrupe Jesuit made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
