Basketball Recap: Smith Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smith). They strolled past the Morrisania Lions with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 70-54. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Smith's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Morrisania, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

When Smith and Morrisania next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Smith will try to stop Hamer's six-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Morrisania will face off against South Bronx Prep and their eight-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
