Baseball Recap: Huntsville Comes Up Short

Huntsville came into this matchup off a tough seven-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Lake Creek Lions by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Huntsville's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Lake Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntsville will square off against Rudder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Creek will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on A&M Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
