Beloit put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Republic County Buffaloes as they made off with a 22-7 win. That looming 22-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

Beloit's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average this season. As for Republic County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Beloit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Republic County, they will square off against Ellsworth at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.75 runs per game on average), something the Buffaloes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
